Scenes from our Anniversary Lunch

Just thought I'd put up a couple of pics from yesterday's lunch at a local cafe to celebrate our wedding anniversary...
One of the boats on view...
the river that heads out to sea outside the cafe...

We had a simple lunch...delicious crispy fish'nchips with salad...avocado and prawn baguette with wedges and sour cream and caesar salad...followed by a pavlova with mango and pouring cream... to share...followed by coffee ... and then back home for champagne...in glasses on a stem of hearts!!! ...and awaited our girl to come home.
And a little saying to finish off...Write in your heart that every day is the best day of the year...Ralph Waldo Emerson

What a wonderful day you had and so it should be. A delicious lunch, a beautiful view followed by champagne. It's such a pretty glass.

Ralph Waldo Emerson has a way with words.

Cheers...Ann :)

Oooh sounds like you had a lovely relaxing time. 35 years is a real milestone, especially these days! STILL raining and storming up here so that piccie of the boat reminded me that the sun WILL come out again! Mel xxx

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, Dzintra!
I hope you had the best day ever!
Still recuperating and in pain. Do miss leaving posts. Very difficult to sit at the computer for a length of time. I have to do it in shifts. I wish I was having sunny skies like you are! Take care. I will return!!!
