~A Win for JoJo~

Shez had a little giveaway of one of her Christmas Decorations and asked if whoever wins it what colour would they like it made in and what design
I commented that if I were lucky enough to win I would get JoJo to choose

Shez ended up having a few winners but she also chose JoJo
and Jo Jo chose a Christmas Tree in green
First pic is the Tree received in green and above the backing fabric

Well wasn't she so pleased and excited and happy to get this Decoration in the mail
She just loves Christmas!!!

Here she is happily displaying it
It is now on her doorknob to her World........her Music Room, awaiting the arrival of Christmas and to hang it on the tree!!!!
But first we have to get over her upcoming Birthday and then talk of Christmas will be non-stop here
As you know she just  LOVES all occasions!!!

Thank you so much dear Shez for including JoJo in your giveaway
You made her day!!!

Fabric and a 6th birthday

Even though I didn't go to the Sydney Quilt Show this year I was there with all the gals in Spirit

I bought a little stash of fabric at half price at Hobbysew

And then for something completely different I joined a Tilda Club
Soooooo different from my usual rich, dark colours above but oh so pretty and I was oh so tempted so caved in

My little Grandie Lidija celebrating her 6th birthday last night

Along with JoJo.......see how they are both holding hands......very sweet

And this morning her Mum is making a beautiful mud cake for 6 little guests

While the Birthday Girl dries her hair......how ingenious is this!!!

Happy Birthday Princess Lidija xoxo

Welcome To My World

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
